I started my halong bay trip sad because my mom missed her flight. I was alone at the start of the trip but one by one, our really nice people joined our group and we really had a ton of fun together. Despit coming from different backgrounds, we all bonded and enjoyed every moment. The trip was well organized, the bus was nice and roomy, our tour guide Victor and his team took care of us and they were very knowledgeable on each destination and activity. Bus ride is a bit long but we could use some sleep, the food on the boat was delicious, the room was decent and I had my own balcony, beer was $2, but for some reason I didn’t catch any squid at night. 🙂 They even surprised us with a birthday cake on the boat (there were two of us celebrating our birthdays). So sweet! ☺
